Kyle VonTrellop, Nick Rocchio, and Colleen Schneider Fight at Pankration! 7/16/09

Pure Pankration, the first of its kind in S.F., was a great success. The crowd piled in to popular SF club, 1015 Folsom. Fight and Fitness had many fans and our fighters performed well.

Nick showed great heart and determination during his match. Nick tried to work his stand up during the match. His opponent kept closing the distance and pressed him against the ropes and eventually took him down. Nick was working from the bottom and almost securing a guillotine choke. The match went 3 rounds and was eventually caught by a kimura that ended the match.

Kyle showed superior wrestling and aggression. Kyle quickly closed the distance and took his opponent down at will. Kyle had a strong ground and pound game and controlled the match. Kyle almost secured a triangle choke in the end of the second round but ran out of time. Kyle eventually took home the win by decision.

Colleen took home the win showing great stand up skills. Colleen landed kicks, knees and punches at will. The fight went 3 rounds and Colleen took the decision.
